This book more than earned it's stars! I would recommend this book to everyone who likes romance, suspense, physiological fantasy and losing themselves in the story. This is not a fast thrill ride, but a slow smooth build up. Although not erotic it is a sensual book. A feast for the imagination. I can't wait to start the next book. If it follows suit to this first one that one will be the climax to the build up of this one. If I could have I would have given this book at least 10 stars. Everyone with an imagination, and whom likes to get lost in a story should read this book. I can't say enough about it. My only complaint is the cover picture does not match the story. It's a cabin not a cottage! Once again EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK! OMG!!!Product details

Great book. I had to go get the other two in series right away. Can not wait for the fourth book to come out. The series really held my attention. Real page turner. Highly recommend reading this series.
I really did enjoy the storyline. It was light enough for an afternoon read, but I saw parallels that kept my mind engaged and made the read that much more enjoyable. I live in East Tennessee; I could see Moonshine nestled in several "hollers" here in my neck of the woods! However, I downloaded the edition, probably a bit before the final edit, and I was annoyed by the grammatical errors. Hopefully those have been fixed in the latest edit. Thank you, Denise, for being willing to make those changes, and I hope you were able to get your money back...the hired editor did you no favors. I'm looking forward to the other books in the series.

I recently bought The Secrets of Moonshine & Haytham for my and read them both in just 3 days. They were exciting and I can hardly wait for #3 to come out so I can finish the story. Having said that, I must say I had some problems with the books. Although I am no English major, I do have a hard time with poor grammar, misspellings, improperly used words, etc., and these books were filled with them. I noticed "sense" used instead of "since" many times, "their" used instead of "they're", "busted" instead of "broken" (one of my BIGGEST pet peeves), missing commas, etc. While these made me cringe when I read them, they did not take away from my anticipation of the release of the third book in December 2012.
I read this book in a day and a half. It's incredible, drawing you in from the very start and hiding just enough to tease you just up until the point you don't think you can take anymore. Then BAM, a major piece of information is revealed. The entire story moves along that way. Ok, it's now about 630am and instead of getting some much needed rest, I'm going to start book #2! Good night!
I really enjoyed reading Denise Daisy's The Secrets of Moonshine, but there was one thing that sort of bothered me for some unknown reason. To me Bronwyn seems really smart, but sometimes she doesn't act like it. It only happens the few times she goes out by herself when she isn't supposed to. She realizes after the fact that she acted stupid by going off on her own and nothing bad really happens to her, but it just bothers me. I did notice just a couple of grammatical errors throughout the whole book, but I really had to look for them. Otherwise, the storyline is real easy to understand and follow along with what was going on. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. Okay, so this book was really overall a very good book with some twists and plot developments that were unexpected. I was not sorry that I read this book by the time I was finished. I thought the characters were really good and I wanted the best for them. What I found caused me to take my time with this book and come back to it later rather than voraciously devour it, was that the first few chapters were rather informational and slow. I respect that the author had to set the story and build a plot, but I would have enjoyed it a bit more if the first couple of chapters had a little more action.
After those chapters, the rest of the book was a pleasure to read and went rather quickly. There is another book by this author on my TBR list and I look forward to reading it. I think this is a building block for this author to reach the top of their chosen craft and hope you will support them by reading and giving your honest opinion as well.
